My oh my! What a great inaugural issue and so well formatted. Hope you keep publishing. Also, I was relieved to note the Saratoga Speedway has withdrawn its expansion application. A good decision on the part of the Saratoga owners. However, while I agree with the opinion piece written about the withdrawal, the lack of action taken by NIPR when approached to support the opposition to the expansion was disappointing to say the least. The NIPR Executive hesitated when it should have acted. Economic expansion will not save the planet nor all life that depends on this planet for its home. Of all the organizations that should know this, it’s NIPR which represents the Green Party of Canada. No apologist opinion piece can blunt NIPR’s failure to act.
